Francesc Planes (1995, Valencia) is a Paris-based photographer whose work spans documentary and fashion photography. Focusing on the human figure and the physical appearance of contemporary society, his images explore realities that may appear grotesque, ironic, or naïve, yet are rooted in a deep anthropological curiosity.

Through his camera and flashes, Francesc captures the spontaneity of individuals performing their presence in both public and private spaces, seeking to recognize humanity within the artificial. His work moves fluidly from the so-called elite—pop stars, celebrities, haute couture clients, and socialites—to the observation of everyday people and their pastimes, traditions, and beauty standards. His photography is playful, direct, and unpretentious, expressing the spontaneity and humor of life through color and unusual perspectives.

Selected clients and publications include Chanel, YSL, Balenciaga, Loewe, Schiaparelli, Bottega Veneta, Marc Jacobs, Nike, Kenzo, Jimmy Choo, Coperni, Carolina Herrera, Max Mara, Mulberry, Nina Ricci, Vogue, Teen Vogue, Interview, i-D, Dazed, T Magazine, M le Monde, GQ.
